Coffee Morning in Aid of Médecins Sans Frontières: Wednesday 21 October

11 am – 1 pm
Are you left feeling upset and helpless when reading and watching the plight of the thousands of wretched, fleeing refugee families and can’t think of a way to help them or the people they have left behind?

Well, you CAN help them by coming to a Coffee Morning in the Hall on Wednesday 21st October organised by The Narth Singers in aid of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) / Doctors without Borders.

MSF is an independent, Nobel Peace Prize awarded charity which works in many parts of the world providing medical and psychological aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from healthcare.

In Syria itself, the situation is continuing to deteriorate and staff have been withdrawn following the abductions of five staff members (subsequently released). They are currently working, often in appalling conditions, with refugees in Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq.

YOU CAN HELP – come and enjoy a coffee morning with a difference in your hall. Coffee and cake will be £2.50 and there will be boxes for voluntary contributions in the hall.

We do hope you and your friends will come, knowing that you are helping dedicated, brave people to do what we can’t do ourselves.
