Tai Chi at the Hall

YinYangA begginer’s Tai Chi class is coming to The Narth Hall – anyone interested in joining up should get in touch with Simon Jones as soon as possible.

The initial course will be 10 sessions, on Monday evenings at 7.45pm to 8.45pm starting 9th May.  There will be breaks for bank holidays: actual dates are

  • 9th, 16th and 23rd May
  • 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th June
  • 4th, 11th and 18th July

The course will cost £8/class, payable in 2 installments of £40.

Parisian High Kicks at theWI Meeting 19 April

RachelBrenanApr16The April meeting of The Narth W I  will take place on 19th at 7.30 in the village hall where the speaker will be Rachel Brenan  a former principal dancer at the Moulin Rouge ‘Bluebell Dancers’

Groundbreaking Comedy comes to The Narth

KepowTheatrePosterWe are delighted to welcome the Kepow Theatre Company, starring Kevin Tomlinson, to our hall on Saturday 30th April with their fantastic show Seven Ages.

Essentially a comedy – with touching moments – Seven Ages premiered at the Edinburgh Festival; garnering 5 star reviews and achieving a sell out run. Transferring to London’s West End, it received a standing ovation on its opening and closing nights. Since then it has been seen at over 300 venues across the UK and had sell out performances all over the world.

And now it’s coming to The Narth Hall, supported by the Arts Council of Wales Night Out (Noson Allan) scheme for rural and touring theatre, which allows professional performances to be experienced in community buildings at subsidised prices. Continue reading
