Village Walk, Sunday 30 April

Wild daffodils in Manor Wood, Graham Agg

A social walk around some of our wonderful rights of way, organised by the Footpath Project team, celebrating how lucky we are to live in the middle of such beautiful countryside.

There is a choice of walks, researched and selected to show off some of our best natural assets, accompanied by the team who can point out spots of local interest and help identify some of the wildlife along the way.

Start 2pm at the Village Hall.  The walks will end about 4-5 pm with afternoon tea in the hall.

You have a choice of a 5 mile walk with some steeper sections, or 2.5 miles along a more level route.  Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Please wear suitable clothing, particularly footwear as it may be muddy and we will be walking through woodland with uneven paths.  We recommend sturdy, comfortable walking boots.  Choose the walk that is right for your fitness level too: get in touch if you have any concerns (details below).

Do join us for a healthy, companionable afternoon, with a chance to chat to your neighbours and enjoy our fantastic countryside in the spring.

There is no charge but we will ask for a donation towards the afternoon tea to cover hall costs. Booking is not essential, but it would help catering if you could contact Brian Mahony on 860199 or complete the form below so we have an idea of numbers.

I/we hope to be joining you on the village walk:
