This spring the Footpaths Project is leading another social walk around the footpaths of the area, on Sunday 3rd June.
These have proved to be a great way to get to know your neighbours while appreciating the beautiful countryside we have around us, and newcomers will be made very welcome by the walking ‘regulars’.

Village Walk 2017
As before there will be a choice of a longer walk (about 5 miles or so) and an easier short walk (around 2 miles on flatter ground).
The walks start at 1.45pm (for the longer walk) and 3pm (shorter walk) and will end between 4.30pm and 5pm (approximately) with Afternoon Tea at the Village Hall. The hall committee would appreciate small donations to cover this cost.
Please wear appropriate walking shoes and clothing, particularly for the long walk which has steeper sections and can be slippery when wet. You may wish to bring a walking stick.
Well behaved dogs are welcome. These must be kept on a lead when walking through fields with animals, as well as near roads.
Booking is appreciated to help us plan the refreshments: please contact Brian on 01600 860199 or email Brian, brian_mahony@outlook.com.
As usual we are keeping the route under wraps until the day, but we would be happy to answer any other queries you may have.
