Rose Parkhouse of Bee Friendly Monmouthshire will be giving an illustrated talk on pollinating insects and their importance, at the Local Links club on Wednesday 17th July, 1.30pm to 3.30pm at the hall.
Bee Friendly Monmouthshire was formed in 2013 from the need to do something to address the dramatic decline in the numbers of honey bees, bumblebees, solitary bees and other pollinating insects such as butterflies, moths and hoverflies. Rose will talk about their contribution to the environment, and what we can do to help them.
£3.00 admission including refreshments, no booking necessary.
