The village Footpath Project are holding their Autumn Village Walk on Sunday 20th October. The details are similar to previous walks (but a different route of course) with a choice of a longer or shorter walk to suit different people.
These walks are a great way to get to know people as well as exploring different parts of our valuable network of public rights of way.
Meet at the Village Hall, at 1.45pm for the longer walk or 3pm for the less challenging walk.
Afternoon tea will be served in the hall at the end of the walks, between (about) 4.30pm and 5pm. The hall committee would appreciate small donations to cover this cost.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear and prepare for muddy paths and autumn weather – sturdy walking boots are recommended and you may like to bring a walking stick.
Well behaved dogs are welcome. These must be kept on a lead when walking through fields with animals, as well as near roads.
Booking is appreciated (although not absolutely essential) as it helps us to plan the refreshments: contact Brian Mahony, brian_mahony@outlook.com or Marilyn on 01600 860031, or complete the form below.
I/we hope to be joining you on the village walk:
