POSTPONED: This will not be on Wednesday 19th February as originally planned, due to issues with the floods. A new date will be announced in due course.
The Wednesday Afternoon Social Club are hosting a group of visiting Minstrels who will play traditional Welsh tunes and give a demonstration of Appalachian folk dancing, which is a cross between Irish/English and Clog dancing developed in the mountains of North America. It’s amazing and very entertaining!
It is open to everyone (as is the Club) and will cost £3 to include refreshments. Could people please let Linda Snowden know if they are coming – phone 01600 869128 or email linda_snowden@btinternet.com. (Note the underscore between Linda and Snowden).
Children are welcome – it’s half term week!
