Our ever-popular Dawn Chorus Walk returns this spring on Sunday 10th April. Led by naturalist and broadcaster, Ed Drewitt (https://www.eddrewitt.co.uk), we will gather in the silence and dark of pre-dawn in order to experience the sights and sounds of our local woodland wildlife waking up. We take a short walk through the woodland, pausing frequently to listen to the birds, before returning to the Village Hall for tea/coffee and pastries. We usually identify 25-30 different species of birds, making our woodland a very species-rich environment in which to experience the Dawn Chorus.
Price £12.50, to include refreshments.
This event is organised by the village Footpath Group. Places are limited and demand is always high so you’re advised to register your interest early. Please email Jane on firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your place.
