About the event
More a stroll than a walk! Through the Life of Manor Wood project we have discovered a lot about the people who lived and worked in Manor Wood. We have family histories. We’ve uncovered evidence of the industry of the woodland, which is hidden in plain sight. And we’ve learnt how the woodland was managed very differently in earlier times in order to support the local industry. Why not come with us on this gentle walk through Manor Wood and we’ll share the stories with you.
Starts 2pm The Narth Village Hall.
Ends around 4pm with afternoon tea in the Hall.
There will be some steep slopes, please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a lead.
