Join us on Saturday 12th December for our online Christmas Quiz over Zoom! The quiz will start at 7pm and end at 9pm.
Helen King (who usually runs the hall’s Quiz and Curry Nights) will be setting the question and will be master of ceremonies. Questions will be provided online.
Teams from the same household can join in together sharing one device (laptop/tablet/phone), but to keep things simple, if anyone in your house is logging in on a separate device, please book in as a separate team.
There is no charge to join in, but please book to receive a link to the session by filling in the form below.
Order your 2021 Calendars featuring the winning photographs from The Narth Photography Competition. Calendars are A4 size and cost £5 each. Padded envelopes for posting the calendars can also be ordered at 40p each.
Once again the Village Hall committee are offering a delivery service for your village Christmas cards, in return for a small donation to Hall funds. As well as saving you time, this is a useful fundraiser for the hall so please join in if you send cards to friends locally.
Bring your cards to the hall on Sunday 15th December between 10.00 and noon. Cards will be delivered before Christmas by our team of volunteers.
If you can’t get to the hall at that time, contact one of our committee members in advance to arrange collection.
Take a stroll back in time this year to see the Victorian Christmas Trials at The Narth Village Hall on the afternoon of Saturday 14th December, when Gwent Magistrates will be re-enacting true cases as they appeared in Court back in the Victorian times.
Victorian Courts were rowdy, with cases being swiftly dealt with and sentencing being rather harsh on relatively minor crimes. Come and join in with the atmosphere and witness Justice as it was served during those times.
Audience participation and Victorian style dress is encouraged, even if it’s just a hat!
Tickets £5 in advance (£6 on the door, if available). Proceeds to be shared between Alzheimer’s Research UK (Gwent Magistrate’s selected charity) and The Narth Village Hall.
Doors and licensed bar open at 2 .30pm for a 3pm start.
Numbers are limited so please book in advance, phone Sue on 01600 860373 or use the booking form below: Continue reading →
