The Wye Valley Women meeting on Tuesday 18th September features a talk by Jeff Chard “Otter Wonderful World“.
Jeff is based in the Rhymney Valley of the county borough of Caerphilly, South Wales, and explores rivers looking for the Eurasian Otter (Lutra Lutra). His illustrated talks are about his experiences and encounters with these fascinating animals.
Non members welcome £3.

Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend
Wye Valley Women’s April meeting is on Tuesday April 17th and again it is an open meeting.
The evening is entitled, ‘Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend’, and led by Adrian Gaunt of Adrian Gaunt County Jewellers, Monmouth.
Adrian will talk about gemstones but diamonds in particular and will be happy to answer questions.
The meeting begins at 19.30 at The Narth Village Hall, is free to members with a charge for visitors, guests or spouses of £3.00. A raffle will be held with proceeds to charity and refreshments will be served.
